Regarding frames: I've been reading much about the issue of Carbon's durability over the long-run versus something like aluminum. What type of problems occur? Are the chainstays or seatstays bending and/or cracking?

Thanks.

The good thing is that you can't really fatigue carbon like aluminum, but CF can chip. Dropping your chain or a rock shooting up from a tire can do more damage. There are many types of epoxy that hold the CF that also makes a difference. In general I would probally say its a tie, but it really depends on who makes it.
