Pinarello bikes?bcm

Any opinions on these bikes? I was wondering how they compare to other Italian bikes (Colnago, Bianchi etc) and to other bikes like Cannondale (my current ride) and Giant.

In particular, the Prince and Opera?

I'm no expert, but the Prince and Opera both have carbon seat stays and are kind of pricey http://www.cbike.com/pinarello.htm
GVH Bikes offers a Paris frameset (all al) for $1395. I think I figured out the price at $2542 with Chorus Ergo 9 speed. Telekom uses the Paris frame and fork, if this means anything. I don't know anything about the longevity of cb seat stays. Full al bikes are stiff riding. The Prince sells for $2300, the Opera $1850. These aren't cheap frames. IMHO make sure you want the ride of al.

I have an opera, but i bought it from Italy for the most reasonable prices. You need to talk to alessandro at www.romeobicycleshop.com for the best prices on these two bikes. He is a very straightforward and honest guy. He can get you any color and accessories, something that you can't get from the importers. The prince will feel slightly stiffer than the opera. I can tell you the craftsmanship is very good and comparable to other good italian bikes.
