Dean Road Frame Experience?Jim U

Can anyone write of their experiences with Dean road frames: purchase, build quality, ride, value, and long term impressions? I'm in the market for a new ride and am wondering if Dean should be included as a prospect.
Thanks

I got a El Diente in February and have been very happy with it. It rides great, with just a little flex in the rear. I should have gotten the 7/8" chain stay option.

For the price, you really do get a great frame. There is some corner cutting to get to this price, however. The finish is matte. There isn't an integrates seat clamp and no fancy head badge. If these things are important, look else where.

It is a great ride.

VERY good performance to price ratio. Not high chi-chi factor but very good quality and performance.

Great riding bike, pretty stiff in the rear. They do not do the monostay like mine anymore, maybe cause it is a bit too stiff for some. Welds are a good as any and makes a Litespeed look like it came from China. Great quality, good people and wonderful price.
Good Luck
