Ti vs. Sc7000(1 post)

Ti vs. Sc7000Flat Foot
Jul 17, 2001 10:19 AM
Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about the ride characteristics of a Ti frame and an Easton Scandium (Sc7000) frame? I know that Ti is supposed to be more durable, but that may not necessarily be the case. For example, a Cat 2 rider has broken two titanium frames each within a 6 month time period. I have e-mailed this rider to find out more info as he is now on an Sc7000 frame. But, apparently, the two titanium frames he broke were of the MerlSevSerotLite caliber. Anyway, I thought I would post here in hopes of getting varied opinions.
