Trico ,split rail saddles...dinky
Jul 16, 2001 8:02 PM
has anyone out there tried these? I am curious about the adjustable ones. I checked the product reviews and the archives but I'm guessing that they are sort of new. The saddle seems like a good idea but given the price, I would appreciate some feedback. I know.....I know...saddle are highly personal but since this is a somewhat radical new style, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I can tell you a little about trico George yates and his family started the business George was one of the first Hawaii Ironman competitors along with a being a top national cyclist back in the 80's george has a rare form of arthritist and taht is when and how they started the company. Right now they are looking into a new pad for the split rail seats. There are 2 types a fixed split rail and an adjustable split rail with titanium rails. They do make a difference. I can say they have invested alot of time money and energy into their seat development and other products. I can also say george and his brother paul are about the most honest hard working people you will find I have personally known both of them for over 13 years. I don't think you would be sorry to spend the money on the split rail saddle it is 100 times better than specialized body geometry seats.
good luck.
