I'm considering purchasing a complete bike from these guys, mainly for price considerations, and the fact that I don't have to buy parts from all over the world and go through the hassle of getting my LBS to cut the fork, install head set and BB etc.

Anyone on this board with any experience to share? Any foreseeable problems?

I got them to put together a beater bike for me, and it went beutifully. There was one part I wanted to swap, so I sent it back and had the replacement part back in under a week.

Have you spoken to them yet? They are soooo helpful its not even funny. I think they're the only mail order shop that I personally would do business with for something this big.

And no, I have no connection with them...

I'm getting ready to buy a $1000 Colnago frame from them. Steve emailed a reply to some questions I had - so far so good. Anyone have probs/comments about frames from them?

Yup, same experience here. I'm getting a good vibe. I'm thinking about the C-40 with Record components. I want to quell the (usually) costly upgrade bug that constantly plagues me. I think the bike will keep me happy for years to come. Now if I can get back into shape to do the bike some justice......
