Hello all! This is the third time that some functions on the computer are going invisible... The first two times I went to the LBS for a chek-up and repair. After some manipulations, everything worked fine for about 1 month. Yesterday the same thing happened again because the functions: DIStance,AVErage and 3 others are not working but some are doing fine: ODOmeter, TIME etc... I feel frustrated because I would like the problem settled for good... MARC

I've never seen this problem before. I have been using a unit on two bikes for over 6 months in all manner of weather over 6,000 miles and it works great. Your description makes me think that the display is cutting out. By this do you mean that it stops registering the spin of the wheel? If so, it could be the transmitter, however if you get a speed display but other features don't work then I would say that the head unit is defective.

One thing I've noticed about the wireless unit is that it is very easy to drain the battery in the transmitter. If in doubt, change the battery.

The only problem that I had w/my flight deck was the fact that the avg., ride time and distance were not registering. What I found was that you have to use the right side button to "start" the time, which will inturn start your avg and distance. Once this is started everytime you reset it, it will automatically start again. Just my experience but when it came from the LBS it was working fine and somehow I stopped it. You might check it out, anything is possible

Can any point in time with Flight Deck computer have it display my Average Speed, Total Distance, and Time while riding?
