anyone know where to obtain a threaded, 6 sp, freewheel? i have a friend who is looking for one for his old italian steed. any help is greatly apprectiated. thankyou.

just thought id ask, since he has tried lbs. hard to find item since all new bikes and bikes over last many years have not used threaded freewheel......they are all cassettes that slide onto freehub, right? thought maybe there is online source for stuff like this. anyone? thanks.

that says they can't get it. 6sp freewheels are available in Quality Bike Parts (QBP) which just about every bike shop orders from. it may be that your bike shop just doesn't want to look.

I sell you mine with the American Classic Hubs(front& rear). It's either 6 or 7. 50.oo for all. Yes used.
