Just curious as to who's doing it this year? I did it last year and the weather was great, except for the torrential rains, winds, hail down Independence Pass. Looks like there will be some good climbing this year too and a little farther in terms of mileage. Can't wait.

when is it, how long is it, and how hard is it for an average rider? Where does the tour take you, I have never been to Colorado. Maybe this would be a good way to see the state that everone I've ever spoken to claims to be the most beautiful in the country.

Hi Jzinckgra,

My friend and I will be riding it for the first time this year. Glad to hear that it's something worthy of doing twice.

Do you (or anyone) have any tips on what to bring and what to leave behind? Is bike theft a problem? What do the breakfasts and lunches tend to be?

Any info you are able to provide is much appreciated. Hope we have decent weather!
