|I just started drinking cytomax and I find it pretty thick. Will it decrease it's benefit if I water it down a little bit? Just wondering|

|Bear in mind that the primary ingredient of cytomax are the carbohydrates. With any sports drink you need to find the right proportions that satisfy your fuel needs and taste. I find that a lighter concentration in the summer serves me better. It is simply to sweet tasting when it is hot outside. During the winter I have never found it to be too concentrated.
I know this isn't a hard answer, but I guess it depends. I would experiment in your training. Personally, these days I am more fond of just putting a little honey in my bottle (with water) and taking along a powergel on races.

|some mix if full strength and chase it with water from another bottle or hydration pack. some mix it stronger than recommended strength and use it as a liquid meal (kinda). some mix it 1/2 strength and fill both bottles with it. i mix it 1/4-1/2 strength in one bottle with water in the other for 2 hour rides, 1/2 strength in both bottles for >2 hour rides, and full strength in both bottles with a hydration pack chaser in both bottles for longer (LONGER) rides.
find what works best for you! good luck...
