What rim tape would be best for these, they want around 150 psi but i am finding the tubes go flat, i was using Performance ultra lite tubes ? This may be the problem but i think its the rim strip, I have not used these tires yet, as they go flat overnite, and when i check its holes on the rim strip side? any help would be good.

Go with wide Velox. There won't be any rim strip issues, then.

I have a set. They are similar to the Conti Supersonics, but maybe a tad thicker and heavier (170 grams in 23mm). They run a little wider for the nominal size, compared to Conti and Michelin.

Mine flatted 3 times on the first 85 mile ride. Not good. Just ordinary pinprick sort of flats. I was testing them on a training ride (I almost never use anything in racing without thorough testing in training first).

The rear wore pretty fast, again, sort of like the Supersonic.

The ride was ok, similar to the Michelin AP Light.

So what's your favorite racing and training tire? (nm)vram

Michelin Axial Pro Light, 23mm; weight around 185g; I've tried nearly everything, and keep coming back to them.

For training, I use the AP in the rear, and the AP Light in front. The wear is about even, then.

For supported races, I'm on carbon wheels with Vittoria Corsa tubulars.

For most races, AP Lights.

Did the rim tape thing over, perfect. Did 30 miles just to test them not bad , they do feel like the Conti Supersonic ! I ran about 140 to 145 lbs in them. I will not train with these any more just use them as a crit race tire setup. For big training rides i go with the Specialized Turbo 700 x 23 fast, light and a lot less flats, the tire ware is ok, but i think all these high performance tires dont last.
