I have been looking for a new bike and like the deals on GVH. The one I like is Columbus Neuron and I can't find it on the Columbus web site. Where is it in their tubing line and how does it compare to Reynolds? Also, any opinions on Cinelli frames? He has several different brands but mostly red. Any help will be appreciated.

You are making two great choices! I have bought three complete bikes from GVH and had two more built up by him...great fellow to work with, bikes were perfect, very happy with him.

As to Neuron, I have owned two bikes made of Columbus Neuron. It is a nice riding, bicycle specific steel tubing. More info on it can be found here:

Good luck!

www.strongframes.com under "Tubing"

Has a very nice description of various flavors of tubing. They don't really get in to which ones are pricey vs. cheaper, nor overall comparisons to specific Reynolds products, but it's a fairly informative list.
