|I am looking to upgrade my shoes and was wondering if there is anything peculiar about the way Sidi's fit? I am looking at the Genius 3's.
Thanks for the input!

|Sidis tend to run a bit narrower than other shoes, such as Carnac. If you have wide feet, you may want to check out the "Mega" version of the Genius 3.|

|How about length? I've found that Shimano shoes run smaller that some Euro shoes.|

|Not compared to some other brands. Carnacs are know for having a large toe box. Sidi also makes wide versions, the "Mega" is you have really wide feet (E or EE).
I've got a D width foot and they fit great. Sizing seems to run exactly as stated. I wear an 8-1/2 in most street or athletic shoes and a 42.5 in the Sidi, just at the size charts predict.

|Sidi's run small, I have a 9.5 U.S. shoe size, The 43 sidi's were a bit tight, the 44 were a great fit|

|I have a 9.5 4EEEE Width. I went to a 44 like the person above and went with what they had to offer for width,a 3EEE. This is the best fitting shoe for cycling I have had. It does tend to overheat my feet though.|

|Just got the MESH version of the new Genius 3, it's silver instead of all black, and has mesh inserts in the Lorica upper...supposed to keep feet cooler. All the local bike shops carry the black Lorica version only, but mine special ordered this model, and says they'll now start stocking it.
By the way, I wear 9.5 or so dress shoes, and the 43.5 was a bit tight, the 44 seems perfect so far!
Hope this helps.

|I have a mesh pair and a Lorica pair. The Lorica pair works well in everything but the hottest weather. On those days, I switch to my older pair, which are mesh.|

|My foot width is medium to almost large. I wear 43.5 times and carnacs, i have a pair of sidi's (energy?) and they are 44.5. Just a data point. Tennis shoes are 10.5.|

|and I do find them to fit narrow. I have narrow feet, though, so it works out very well. |
Contrary to Sidi's advertising, they do stretch out, especially when wet, so try to get the snuggest comfortable size. Mail order prices are usually pretty close to shop, and this is one place it's worth it to try things on.
I have G3's and Dominator 3's, and love them both, but again, it really depends on the shape of your feet.
