Does that adjustment bar on the bottom make a significant difference stiff vs soft? And how does it stand up to regular use? Is the Energy worth the additional cost over the Genius 3?

I've been using the G3 for a long time and am a big fan. If I recall correctly, many people who have used the Energy say that the adjustment function really doesn't help much. It seems to be designed for pro caliber racers. Although I haven't tried the Energy, my gut feeling tells me it's not worth the extra dough. The adjustment seems a little gimmicky.

Hello Mike. I have been using Sidi Energy, 2001 model for 2 months now. The adjustment bar is not a gadget, it realy works! When I am on the bike, I put it on maximum stiffness and when I want to walk I put it at the maximum softess level. To resume my experience: First time with shoes made of lorica and shoes cleaning is very easy & fast. The buckles are easy to manipulate & very fine adjustment is a fun characteristic. I have wide feet and have no problem with the shoes. The 2 fans at the top of the front is a cool feature to ventile the interior of the shoes. Ciao! Marc in Montréal

I bought my Energy's from ... even with the shipping charges the total was $155 (US mail order is $229+shipping). 've ordered several times from them and have had no problems. Shipping times are a bit longer than US mail order but........did i mention the price!?!

I ordered a pair of Sidis from zonabici. With shipping a pair of G3s cost $140. Shipping took about a month. I more recently placed an order for clothing that arrived in two weeks. Apparently, they're making a concerted effort to improve shipping times. Obviously, you need to know what size Sidis you wear before ordering from zonabici. Fortunately I've owned several pairs of Sidis and knew that a 45 fits me like a glove.
