Unknown Peugeot bike...cm

HEllo!

I picked up a decent Peugeot "Course" complete bike for FREE at a garage sale. It is in decent condition, and I don't know anything about it, really. It has Mafac brakes, an Atax bar, and the frame and fork is made in France.
Any info is appreciated!

THANKS!

Atax and mafac were french component manufactures who went out of business some time ago. If the bike is French threaded you will have problems finding replacement parts. It can be converted to Ital. threading but probably not worth the bother. Need more info on frame. There should be a sticker on the seat tube identifying tubing.

As for value it's probably not worth much. Very few "Vintage" bikes have any real value. The best value may be a cool retro bike for free. If it fits ride it and enjoy.
