anything good online? or any good books anyone could recommend? I have a feeling I could add a few to the ones I've been doing since I was in high school.

Sorry, I don't have the URL on this computer. I found it by doing a search for "IT-band friction syndrome". Good site, and the stretch seems to have worked.

I have a great book on general stretching - I believe it's just called Stretching ( A search on Amazon.com should find it easily). A couple URLS on the IT band syndrome:

but just today I was doing a web search for the same thing.
I found dozens of sites, but this one at least has some rudimentary diagrams as well as descriptions:

Try Howtostretch.com. I've done some and seemed to work. They seem more towards Yoga though.
