can "setback" seatposts be turned around and used as setforward seatposts?

On most set-boack style seatposts you wouldn't have the range of tilt adjustment needed to get your saddle anywhere near level or comfortable. The phase 'bingo ride' comes to mind. On a post with a wide range of adjustment you might be able to get away with it. Case by case scanario I guess. A better idea might be to try a triathalon style set forward post for this situation.
