|Just got my 01' LeMond Zurich, took it for a few loops in Central park, got about 30 miles on it...I happen to LOVE THIS BIKE!... My question is why does every 10th bike in the classifieds happen to be a 00' or 01' Zurich? I researched long and test rode many bikes before I spent my $$$...hope I did'nt miss anything. Dom.|

|If you researched to Lemond extensively, and decided to buy it, then it was the right bike to buy. Don't second guess yourself, or you'll want to find things wrong with it. I cannot say why so many are up for sale. Its a great bike with traditional geometry. If you love it now, you'll probably continue to love it later.|

|I had a zurich and now a victoire. A lot of ads seem to be from the same place, maybe a shop with overstock? I have not heard many complaints. Some people buy and never ride, only to sell and buy that next "pretty" bike.|

|I have a Victorie as well and love it. Had it for 3 weeks now and have only done 5 rides totaling 650 miles, one ride yesterday for 250 miles, longest ever.
I saw a bunch for sale as well right along allot of other bikes of other makes as well.
If it fit's you, it will be a long lasting bike.

|The number for sale may simply reflect that the bike is an extremely popular bike with large numbers sold compared with other models.
Also, Trek changed the tubing for '01 making some owners of older models want to buy the new model, which might explain some of the '00's for sale.

|Bikes are like pizza...there are no bad ones, some are just better than others. Incidentally, your bike is better than many others.|| |
