KHS Flite 800 vs. Schwinn FastbackJoelb

I am considering these two frames (KHS Flite 800, Schwinn Fastback Pro) for a second bike. Schwinn costs $100 more. The Schwinn is lighter, Aluminum vs 853. My race bike is a Trek 5500 which I love, this bike would be for commuting and some training. Any opinions welcome.

Thanks

the fastback is twitchy...YMMV. Could be the Velomax wheels I suppose too and not the Fastback frame.

I have the 2000 KHS with Ultegra and I love the bike. I can't really comment on the Schwinn. My old bike was a 1980's Trek 1000 aluminum (a nice bike), but the 853 steel just seems great I'm a believer in steel now. Be advised about sizing the bikes run small and have a long top tube. My 58 is like a 56 but that's the sizing I wanted.
