i live in a city that has a lot of metal grate drawbridges when it rains they are very, very slippery. i have to slow down almost to a stop to go over them and even then my back tire starts to slide out from under me. needless to say it very scary, does anyone have any tips on how to ride over wet drawbridges safely and with out slowing down so much

No sudden shifts of direction or weight. Easy spin, enough to maintain speed. Stay OFF the brakes. No "death grip" on the bars. Think happy thoughts.
