|I've had plenty of saddle sores, but unfortunately the mother of 'em all has decended upon me the last 24 hours. I don't mean to inundate you all with too much information, but it is downright uncomfortable to walk, much less ride. Usually I'm able to lance the sore and relieve the swelling, but this one is unrelenting and that didn't help.
This is a problem because I have a major race on Saturday. I'm taking today and tomorrow off the bike in hopes that rest will alleviate it, but I want to do something more proactive. I have been cleaning the area with anti-bacterial hand gel and I'm wearing loose fitting shorts. I seem to recall someone recomending a product called boilease. I'm ready to try anything if anyone has suggestions.

|that others here have recommended. I fortunately have never had to use it myself on myself, but, as a diaper rash cure, I can attest that it works absolute miracles. Miracles. And skin lesions are skin lesions, right? Nothing would breed bacteria better than a stinky diaper, but this stuff just wipes it out.
Developed for cow udders, it is available (or at least used to be) in CVS stores and probably other pharmacies.
