|I would like to reduce some weight on the bike....From my mtb experience, the BB is a nice place to go....Any experiences with Ti BB's on roadbikes? I ride a World Class Ti BB on my mtb....P.S., I am only 140 lbs,so weight restrictions have never been a problem. Alan|

|You'll be limited to using a square taper style BB and crank. It's not a bad thing, but it's not 9 (or 10) speed either.|
|If Im not mistaken, Campy still uses the ol' 2 degree square||railer|

|taper. Im not a Campy user (used it off-road years ago and have been scared off ever since) so I could be wrong.
Regarding the durability of a Ti spindle, IVe used one off road for 12+ years with absolutley no problems. I weigh 155-160 and ride quite fast downhill.
