Lemond Zurich vs. Serotta Colorado IIIBMW

I'm trying to decide between the Lemond Zurich or the Serotta Colorado III...This would be my first road bike purchase...any suggestions or additional insight would be very helpful.
Thanks...BMW

The Corvette probably perfoms just as well, but there is something to be said for mystique.
Few will upgrade to the Lemond--Many to the Serotta. nmblue bayou

maybe these are the choices at your LBS? The Colorado III is a higher end bike, and it's pretty much a knockout (and this comes from a Serotta basher). However, the most important different is the way they fit. Last time I checked, Serotta was going with a shorter top tube than Lemond (the Serotta would fit me, the Lemond wouldn't). If the bike fits, you won't go wrong with either.
