Osa could have won if he would have hit the apexes of the corners. In watching today, he missed every single one, being in the center of the road at end bend...............

I am surprized that a Spanish rider in the mountains would have a problem like that. Maybe it was nerves though too and he was pushing it to stay ahead, but thats when slowing down will make you faster...

That had to be one of the most twisting,narrow, technical descents that I've ever seen. I got dizzy just watching it on TV. Considering Simoni knew the descent(he lives near there) and Salvodelli's prowess on the downhills I thought he did OK. He almost lost that first turn and from then on he did OK. I have to congratulate Honchar for staying with Salvodelli the whole way.
