Bike clothes for tall guys: do they exist?JRG

I'm 6-5 and looking for tights, a windbreaker, and a long-sleeved jersey. (Yes, it's still cold in the morning in New England!)

Do you know of any sources for bike clothes with extra-long sleeves and legs?

To contribute to the discussion, REI sells "longs" in gear meant for winter sports. Some of the base layers and the PowerStretch tights are useful for biking.
Try voler, their stuff is quite longLargo

Be sure you can return 'em, though--some of the stuff is marginal on me, at 6'4".
Try L.L. BeanStewK

For a windbreaker I use a tall anorak I ordered from L.L. Bean. Not exactly streamlined, but does the job.

I have no experience with them, but Boure advertises custom-fit sizing on their web site (www.boure.com). You pay 25% more for the service. Check out their size chart - you may fit their production XL. When I need new tights I'm probably turning to them. Custom bib tights - aah, what a dream!

I'm 6'4" and I have used Nasbar bib tights in a Large Long size for several years. Used them for road riding and as a base layer for skiing and they are still in good shape. Heavy Lycra, good stitching, zippered ankles. They fit me well, although one pair has ankle openings sized for someone much heavier than me.

LS jersey? I have a close-out mail-order Pearl Izumi XL that fits well except for sleeves that are 1/2" too short. BTW, I wear 42 long jackets, 16/35 long sleeve dress shirts, 36 inseam / 36 waist pants. It's the only LS jersey I have, so I'm still on the lookout for another one.

As an alternative to LS jersey, how about your SS jersey with arm warmers? I have Defeet arm warmers that cover total arm and wrist - no problem with gaps. I've seen those in catalogs (Performance and Colorado Cyclist I think) if your LBS can't get them.

I use a PI windbreaker - Zephyr model I think. XL size is perfect for me - sleeves are longer than the XL PI jersey - go figure.

Good topic - I wish you luck. I'm always on the lookout for tall bike clothes that fit. Let us know if you're successful - I'll post in the future if I find other sources.
