Secret wheelsucker redeems himself / commuter trainAlan B

A couple of weeks ago I posted complaing of a guy who surreptitiously sucked onto my wheel in my morning commute and never volunteered to take a pull. His excuse was an "epic ride" a couple of dayse earlier. Well, I saw the same guy this morning who apologized and offered to "take 7 pulls" today (there's only enough distance for us each to take 2 or 3 pulls, which is what we did). He even introduced himself, so I felt obligated to retract my earlier remarks. If you're out there David, I'm sorry I was suspicious of your true intent.

We also picked up a guy on a mountain bike who stuck with us at our 25+ pace, suspension fork and all -- nobody expected him to take a pull, but I was a little surprised he was able to keep the pace at all. All three of us were commuters, forming our own version of a "commuter train"
