|Now that summer is here and you're out on those long rides sweating all over your bike.....how often do u wipe it down......once after every ride with a rag? every couple of days with a hose(i hate getting the bike drenched with water if I can avoid it)....????|

|Best to do it after every ride, also might want to put a head band on under the helmet if you have a real sweating problems. One of the nastiest looking problems seen on a bike is when the sweat causes the paint to rust off the down tube and cause pitting in the frame. If you just spray down the tubing with the hose every so often it isn't to bad just don't spray into the components especially with any real pressure. TTFN|

|thanks.....that's exactly what happened with my first steel frame....granted its over 12 years old and now i just use it as a rain or windtrainer bike.....

|After getting my Zurich home the first thing I did was to put a good wax job on the frame/forks. Now after every ride I get a soft cloth and the Lemon Pledge and wipe it down. Dirt, sweat and even dried Gatorade wipe right off with no effort.|| |
