A New Englander in Austin, TX...

Evidently, I am what is termed (in Texan, the local dialect of english) as a "Damn Yankee"... (evidently there is some point north of Virginia where you graduate from just a plain old Yankee...)

DrD: Take comfort in the words of the great Lyle Lovett, who says, "That's right, you're not from Texas, but Texas loves you anyway !"

...here in San Diego County, California. Was born in south Dallas and put time in and around Lubbock, Ft. Worth, Richardson, Arlington, and Houston. The piney woods and lakes of south east Texas is among my fav-o-rite places from Orange up thru Marshall. The family plot's in Olney, Texas ...and will be my last ride :)

cheers
