input on best frame?Gav

I am looking to buy a frame and built it with D/A. I had posted yesterday that I was considering input on the Galileo by Pinarello but thought I would open it up to suggestions. My price range is around $1,100 for the frame and fork. I would like to train for races and possibly race in the future. I'm a bit over 6 feet, 195lbs., and 34 inch inseam. I woul like to go with an aluminum frame and carbon fork and seatpost. Cost and weight being the major factors. I look forward to your advice and guidance.

Cheers, Gav

i had a steel one and then got an ugly blue trek...the ride is great, and cheap for carbon...why are you so set on aluminum with the carbon fork and seatpost..seatpost?..i have a carbon post and it cracked, they are delicate..
