|Hi, I'm new to road biking.. I just bought a 2000 Cannondale R600 with Shimano 105 components. The shifter/lever is 105 and is flightdeck compatible. I went online to buy a flightdeck and I have a few choices for the sensor and wiring.. They have SM-6500, SM-6500-R, SM-6500-SW... How do I know which on I need? Thanks!

|Look at your right lever hood. If it has two "button bumps" you need the SM-6500. If each lever hood has one "button bump" you need SM-6500RS.
The other two wire harnesses don't provide the virtual cadence or gear indicator functions and consequently have little value.

|The 6500 computer has some shortcomings that you might have read about on this board and in the review section. Some were fixed in the 6501 computer.|| |
