Confusion with Flightdeckpaulyjsob

Hi, I'm new to road biking.. I just bought a 2000 Cannondale R600 with Shimano 105 components. The shifter/lever is 105 and is flightdeck compatible. I went online to buy a flightdeck and I have a few choices for the sensor and wiring.. They have SM-6500, SM-6500-R, SM-6500-SW... How do I know which on I need? Thanks!

Look at your right lever hood. If it has two "button bumps" you need the SM-6500. If each lever hood has one "button bump" you need SM-6500RS.

The other two wire harnesses don't provide the virtual cadence or gear indicator functions and consequently have little value.

The 6500 computer has some shortcomings that you might have read about on this board and in the review section. Some were fixed in the 6501 computer.
