|I rode with a celebrity today!||4bykn|

|The spring metric fund raiser for my local bike club was today, and a celebrity was there. You know the type, so well known that they only need one name (Elvis, Lance, Cher, etc). We rode 36 miles together, me on my new Zeppelin, and she on her new bike. Weather was good, conservation was casual, had a great time. Will have to try the same ride next year and maybe run into her again.
Who is this celebrity you ask? Someone I think you all will recognize. Kristin, thanks for the company.

|I'm shocked to find out that she's a real person. Does her bike fit?

|She is a very real, very nice person, and shame on those who treated her badly. From what I could see, the bike fits nicely and is set up well for her.|

|who spent almost as much time shopping for a bike as Moses did wandering in the desert. ;-) Her epic search for the perfect road bike engrossed and enthralled the board for what seemed like months. Every time the people thought Kristin had decided, she would post again with another question about the relative merits of different bikes. Answers begat more questions. Questions were answered and were followed by more questions. Test rides were taken and the results were shared with the people. The people praised Kristin's tenacity in pursuit of the perfect bicycle. Kristin continued her search and continued to let the people know of her search. Slowly, the people began to turn against Kristin, commanding her to let her decision be made, thereby ending the matter. Alas, Kristin made her decision. Verily, did she report to the people that she had purchased a bicycle bearing the title: DeBernardi. The people rejoiced. :-)|

|Her celebrity is that she is a female.||Aill|

|Face it: Although she may very well be a great person, her greatest notoriety here is because she is the only female that frequents this forum. That really is it.
(Again, I assume she may be a great person)
To those who fawn over her: you are effeminate wimps.

|How do you know she is the only female here? A lot of the names are not gender specific. 4bykn...hmmmm, man or woman. Aill... can't tell. Lighten up.
I think her "notoriety" is derived from her willingness to share all of her purchase process on the board for all to see, regardless of what some less-than-kind people might have to say.
