Anyone bought any of the Lemond Gear at Target?(9 posts)

Anyone bought any of the Lemond Gear at Target?notes_clp

Walking though my local Target stores sports isles I came across the bike section to where I spied Greg Leomnds name on several items, jerseys, cycling shorts, seats, pumps, and helmets.

I am wondering if anyone has bought any of this gear, prices were not bad and appeared to be good stuff. I wonder who is actually making this stuff, helmet appeared to be as good as anything you can buy at the LBS for $50 more.

Any thoughts/opines?

I bought an insulator for my water bottle during Dec--cause my drink invariably froze during my rides. Worked OK. Most of the stuff is cheaply made and kind of pricey. The positive aspect is that regular folks who are apprehensive of walking into a LBS may pick up some cycling gear from Target. But most serious cyclists wouldn't.
Some great values to be had!MrCelloBoy

I've actually found some awesome MTb tires at WalMart (Wild Wolf if I recall). They were only about $5.99 and worked just great on the rocky hardpack we've got around here! The carbon content was so high it really stunk up my house though.
The real question is: R4 or R5??Kristin

I'm not a Domino Administrator, but I play one on TV... Actually, I'm too busy riding to study for the test :)

And I thought I was the only Notes Biker around.

R5 - yeah, as soon as my corp finishes the upgrade to R5 it should be all but extinct. I vote for Exchange but too many take a intere$t in big blue. did Notes come up in a RBR forum?

yeah... well we just got the good news. Dump the project plans for the current infrastructure and sign up for some Win2K classes, cuz we're switching alliances...

Mr. Notes_CLP's career seemed obvious and peaked my curiosity. I got all excited to see another Admin--theres so few of us--and I guess I lost my head. My most humble apologies! :-)
