You sell your house and move closer to your favorite mountain pass.
Yeah, we sold our old house last year and moved to this valley that has mountains in every direction to include five road climbs and many mtb trails. I'm 40 minutes from work if traffic is OK but it's aaaalll good!

Ride On!

I have to ask this, but is that a 40 min bike or car commute?
Hope thats not by car, 'cause thats a lot of gas, nice spot though.

Yeah, by vehicle but I usually ride a motorbike that gets over 50mpg and has a rare (for the industry) triple cataletic converter setup. I do ride one of the bikes to and from work occasionally also but that's a major commute.
Also consider this. When we lived in "town" we were always driving to the mountains to hike or mtb the trails. Also we went to movies and out to eat (more driving) fairly often. *Now* we don't do any of that. We ride from our house to the trails, eat at home and haven't been to a movie theater at all. Don't miss it either.

This would make it all the better, of course. Looks like a sweet spot. You sure do love climbing! (And I thought *I* liked hills...)

Good on ya.

...kicking the competition's butt at the Snowbird Hill Climb in Utah. She's not racing this year (full time job, grad school and stuff) but still rides.
We'll probably both get back into racing one of these days. For now we just ride as hard as we can and have fun.
Looks Like Parley's Outside Park City?grz mnky

From little hints and seeing the photo I'm thinking I'm fairly close. Funny thing - we found that the MTB riding in the Wasatch to be far superior to the mts. outside of Denver/Boulder in terms of crowds.
