Hey Look, here are some of those rides I was telling you about ! We have some shorter rides, but with your traveling distance, I won't bother unless you want the list. If you want to send me your mailing address, I can send you a copy of our newsletter. Anyway the rides :

1. Sat. June 2 (9:30am)- 3/4 century (72 miles),somewhat hilly. Goes from Sinking spring to Bethel.

2. Sun June 10- First Union race (7:30am)Birdsboro to philadelphia (95 miles). Nice ride, but you miss most of the race.

3. Sat. September 15 8:00am. It's our "shoo-fly classic ". AWESOME ride !!!! you have options 15-100 miles. Super supported, breakfast, lunch, munchies, power aide, and sag service for $13.00. I believe that this ride was rated in the top 10 in the country by L.A.B. This is a must do !! I can even send you a breif route detail if you want. The ride starts in Kutztown, which is really easy to get to from rt 78. This ride draws people from Delaware, Maryland, New York, New Jersey & Kentuky (my Brother-in-law).

I'll post more rides as I get them. Our web site is www.berksbicycle.com.

How did that 27 cog work with your Mektronic ?? I'm running a 11-27 right now & it works very well, but might tighten it up a bit w/ 12-25.
Thanks!look271

The shoo-fly classic looks interesting. Kutztown is less than a 1hr drive on 78 (I know-I always stop @ the Texaco station off of the exit for a "nature break" on the way to my in-laws in Allentown). Can I check out these rides on the website? BTW-12-27 works great. Most of the time I ride a 12-25, but I've been in a sadistic mood as of late and have been doing hills, hills, and more hills, so the 27 is a welcome addition.
