Axiom Computer Calibration...question RE wheel settingsTrek 5500
May 16, 2001 7:26 AM
Greetings:

I had to replace the battery in my Axiom 5.0 cyclometer. I can't find the owner documentation and I cannot remember how to program the wheel settings. I have a standard-sized Trek 5500 Carbon frame so I imagine the wheel size is one of the standard settings.

The tire measurements are 700x23C.

thanks in advance -- feel free to e-mail replies directly to mbinko@launchfuel.com

...teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime...

I can't stand to see people be so helpless on the internet...

1. Point your browser to Google:

http://www.google.com

2. In the search box, type:

axiom cycle computer

...then press the "Google Search" key

The first hit you get will be a Performance Bike web page with all of the instruction manuals for Axiom computers. Double-click on the link, and when the page loads, download the manual you need.

You will need Adobe Acrobat to read the document. (a .pdf file = Portable Document File).

You can download acrobat for free at Adobe's website:

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html#a

...just make sure you select the version that's right for your computer...

Man, how do you do it - all that help, all that opportunity for sarcasm and snide remarks..... Yet, none of that. Geez.

Watch the critics start chiming in about you not saying enough "Please." and "Your welcome."

Just show's to go you that it's so much easier to have someone else take the time to learn and do the work then just ask for the answer and expect it.

One thing I want to know, where's the "Any" key? ;-)
