Hey, A company called Leader Bikes has been selling inexpensive carbon/aluminum and titanium frames on Ebay for cheap cheap cheap. Does anyone out there know about the quality of these? Anyone out there riding one or know someone who is?

Leader is a Taiwanese company (if we're talking about the same company) that has been making carbon frames for quite a while, and they made (make?) some of the lower end frames for other brands (such as Look and others...some of the other names escape me right now.) I had a Leader made frame for a few years - they are decent frames, believe it or not. They are pretty stiff and light (compared to my Concorde with Tange tubing,) but feels pretty "dead." Nothing wrong with them, but nothing that gets me terribly excited either. If you can get them for a cheap price, I don't see why not.
