Love him or hate him, I think it's good for the sport to see a colorful character like Cipo back in the thick of things. Nobody looks better, arms raised, and a big smile on his face:

Because Mario is sending a message loud and clear. Any sprint finish in the Tour won't mean as much without the best sprinter there. Wurst is hurt, Steels is sick, and Cipo isn't invited. Zabel could pick up the green jersey tommorrow.

I love how Cipo has warned LeBlanc that there will be many more wins to come in protest of Saeco's non-selection. You have to respect someone who lets their pedals do the talking.

Cipo came out of nowhere for the victory. No train to be seen. Just Cipo getting to the front in the last 75 metres to take the victory. Its unfortunate about their not getting selected. When it comes to sprinters, as much as I like Zabel for his cycling and personal class, its personalities like Cipo which make the Tour a great event and entertainment.
