|Switched my stem to match the bar diameter better (25.8 bar, 26 stem didn't work too well -- went to a 25.8 stem). Although nominally the same size stem, the new stem turned out to be not only a little longer horizontally (about 1 cm) but shorter vertically (I was running my old stem at maximum height, about 5-6 cm below saddle height, because I am by nature a wimp). I was a little concerned that I would be too stretched out and too low. |
The result is a much better, more comfortable fit. I'm in the drops more easily, etc. Go figure.
