I have no choice..I am going to have to rebuilt my wheels...GTRider

This 15G is just not working.I had the wheels done nice.But i am still truing every other day.So my question us 14g ss or 14/15/14/?
Bare in mind i am a clydesdale rider.

Before you spend the money on a new set of spokes for your wheelset- Did you try everything else? Maybe just putting some Loctite on your nipples would help the problem.

Second, how clydesdale is clydesdale? 14g spokes are pretty burly. I've seen a number of 200+ guys who run them on their MTB's. Depends on what spoke pattern you are going to use as well. Three cross might be a good choice, maybe brass nipples for a heavier rider. What plans do you have for the wheelset in terms of the rest of the build?
