I will never pull through. I am always on someone else's wheel. I will never, ever help the group.

It's not a big deal really. If someone is on your wheel always, they probably aren't strong enough to help much anyway. As long as they aren't a squirrel in the pack, why worry? Teach them the proper ettiquette, and when they get strong enough, they will know how and be able to help. Remeber, you weren't always so adept at hanging in a pack. Probably weren't as fast at some point too.

Racing is a different story. Drop them if you can. Otherwise you are just making a tactical error in hauling them in to win the sprint.
