Have any of you heard of Delromi bikes made in Belgium?
I was considering buying a Delromi 10spd built in the 1970s to use as a beater. It's in great condition. It has Simplex derailleurs, Altenburger brakes, and other stuff that i can't identify.
I have no idea what the tubing is or how it was constructed. But a label on the bike has written: "Bonderized Made in Belgium". The head badge is red and green with a vertical "DELROMI" written on it.
Also, anyone know about a "Bridgestone 300" road bike? Looks pretty low quality. Any thoughts?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

|My wife has a Bridgestone 500, which was two steps above the 300. Must've bought it about . . . at least 12 years ago, and I think longer. Like most Bstones, it was a good value for the money (about $400 then, I think). All Suntour, good-quality parts (I like the brakes better than anything I have on my own bikes now). It hadn't been ridden in several years, and I just washed it, lubed it and raised the seat for my daughter last month. Decent wheels, a little heavy...Works fine for anything an ordinary person wants a bike for.
My recollection is that Bstone used the same geometry on all the bikes within a given category, and may have used the same frame, upgrading components as the price went up.
