Finally, the sun!
And there I was last weekend, with no UV protection. I peeled off the arm and leg warmers 2 hours into the ride. With 2 more hours of sunshine, I wound up with a neato two-tone tan & burn on my legs. What the heck was this pasty white guy thinking? I'll keep the SPF 15 with me pre-ride from now on. Dang, I love Seattle.
Branded a cyclist: Brown ovals on tops of your hands. (nm)Brian C.

But I'll take the funny tan if it means I get to ride in the sun. Good thing the rain finally stopped here in Seattle.
Also the tanline across your nose, from your sunglasses. (nm)Bill J. Pappas

I agree, this weekend was fantastic. Too bad about the Mariner's on Monday though.

Yeah, poor guys can't seem to buy a win. Check out the NL west standings for a tough division race!

Living in sunny Santa Cruz(CA), I already have the biker tan from hell. My friends tease me about wearing nylons, but it does get the attention of the ladies! A true earned tan from miles and miles of riding!!

Tans what are they.I live in sunny sunny england so I rarely get a tan but a few times I have had tans to rival the people who go off on holiday but I do get the comedy tan lines on the back of the hands from gloves and a lovely helmet ring (I could have worded that better ).
