changes. What do you gain with the pedal axle under the ball of your foot as opposed to the axle positioned a little farther back. I tried running mine a little farther back and Im just curious if theres any info on this topic. THanks.

Running the cleats further back distributes the pressure across more of the foot than just under the ball of the foot. It also reduces stress on the lower leg and particulary the achilles tendon. This can increase power output while simultaniously reducing fatigue to the lower legs. The level of benifit by moving the cleat back depends a lot on your own anatomy and riding style, as well. I have worked with many cyclists and always position the cleats more towards the backside ball of the foot, as a starting point.
