Frame pump for Trek OCLV(4 posts)

Frame pump for Trek OCLVAndy

Speaking of frame pumps, how do you Trek OCLV owners carry your air? Right now I carry a Blackburn AS-1 Air Stik in my jerzy pocket. I don't like the mini pump because it seems like it takes 50,000 pumps of air to get my tires to an acceptable pressure. Maybe my pump isn't very good.

CO2 cartridges. Inflates your tire in 5 seconds and you're on your way. I stopped carrying a pump 8 years ago.

I use a Topeak Morph that mounts like a mini-pump under the downtube water bottle cage. The plastic clamp is made for smaller tubes but spreads out just fine over the OCLV. The Road Morph can do over 130 psi without getting a better workout than riding the bike. ;-) The Mountain Morph can do 120 psi but is shorter and a 40 grams lighter. I have a 60 cm frame. For a small frame, the Mountain Morph might be the best choice.
