Has anyone worn the SuperGo black lycra shorts? For $30.00 I was thinking of giving them a try.

Yes, I have a pair that I've had for about 3 years and they are by far my favorite ones! I own a Trek pair, a Giordana pair, a Bellewether pair, and they don't compare to the Supergo ones. My Supergo's are made by Canari, so as long as they are still making them they're good to go. The lycra is pretty thick in them, which to me makes them more comfortable.

I'm not GAGA over them, but they are a great value at $30. The build quality is not as good at $90 shorts, but quite decent. I've gone on 70+ mile rides in them and they are very comfortable.

I just ordered a pair and was somewhat dissapointed. Build quality and pad are not as good as I expected.

Will stick with Pearl I. or even the Performance Century shorts.

Wore my SuperGo shorts on afternoon ride, very disappointed in them. The croutch fit is poor. The pad wants to slide far, away from where its needed. Also, the pad is close to useless. Shorts aren't worth the $30 I paid. Performance shorts are great but they are much better than SuperGo's shorts.

I will never buy an inexpensive pair of shorts again.
