|I rode the 100 today on the Minnesota Ironman Ride, its an annual charity ride put on every year by the Twin Cities Cycling Club, the first 50 miles were into a 30 mph head wind, but a great team of coeds from the UofM let me ride in thier paceline(thanks guys),temps were in the mid 80s and the roads were in great shape after a hard winter up here. Aside from some leg cramps that drove me to my feet in the last 20 miles it was a great day,the new Litespeed was sweet and rode like butter,I love this sport.

|Thanks Dustin,I will be 39 in June,I just started cycling last March and rode RAGBRAI, a 500 mile tour across Iowa in July,I have trained all winter on a trainer and weight bench, nothing real serious, just enough to keep my wieght down. If you can get 500 base miles under your belt you should be able to do 100 easy, just listen to what your body tells you and take breaks when you need them. If an old guy with bad knees can do it,anybody can!
