What is the difference in the open pro silver, the open pro black or blue and the open pro CD. All I have been able to find out is that it has to do with anodization? Not sure what that means and if it is worth the extra money.

the difference between the colours is the colours only and about 10 bucks more for the blue or black. The cd is a little different according to mavic CD is a process that in mavics own terms...
Concept :
This type of adonization process reinforces the oxide layer that forms on the aluminum profile surface.
On the surface of the rim, a greater micro-hardness is obtained.

Benefits :
- Greater resistance to wear (150 - 400 times higher than any other type of adonization).
- Greater resistance to corrosion.
- Easier to build and balance the wheel.
Hope that helps. TTFN
