|What is the difference in the open pro silver, the open pro black or blue and the open pro CD. All I have been able to find out is that it has to do with anodization? Not sure what that means and if it is worth the extra money.|

|the difference between the colours is the colours only and about 10 bucks more for the blue or black. The cd is a little different according to mavic CD is a process that in mavics own terms...
This type of adonization process reinforces the oxide layer that forms on the aluminum profile surface.
On the surface of the rim, a greater micro-hardness is obtained.
- Greater resistance to wear (150 - 400 times higher than any other type of adonization).
- Greater resistance to corrosion.
- Easier to build and balance the wheel.
Hope that helps. TTFN
