|Anyone ride in Palo Alto, CA Area? Records?||WishIWereCobyJ|

I'm wondoring if anyone out there rides in the Palo Alto, CA area because I wanted to find out what some local "records" for climbs were. I heard Greg Lemond climbed Old La Honda from Portola to Skyline Blvd in 15 minutes flat. Is that true? Anyone know any times for climbs of Page Mill or 84? Thanks a lot-

|...true. I've only timed myself once on Old LaHonda and that was the very frist time I rode it - did 20:21. I'm in shape now to do under 20 minutes, but haven't had the opportunity to prove it. I have no problem imagining Greg LeMond at his peak being 33% faster than me up a hill.
For Page Mill, this might give you an idea.

|Someone did a comparison with Pantani's (spelling?) time up a climb that is very similar to OLH in pitch and distance and figured he'd do OLH in 12 minutes and change!|

|Take Kings Mountain to Tunitas Creek, buzz to the vegetable stand on Hwy. 1, going North, fill up on goodies, then BUZZ back up Tunitas Creek, more shade than other climbs, then fly down home.|
