It sure does. And what makes you go even faster is if you have your lbs put "speed-holes" in your head tube, seat tube and seat stays. They make your bike much more aero-dynamic.

i dont know how someone comes up with a comparison that is accurate but as i remember what was said - in a 60 mile race you gain about 26 seconds if you shaved them, on average...i hope someone gives the facts that were posted back then because i want to know how they came up with the figures..
