|I installed for the first time the veloflex tires - 700x22 (pave model). I have always used vittoria Open CX. The installation and removal of the VITs are so easy but the Veloflex seems very tight and i need a tire lever to install
Is this normal ?????? Would it become easier with a few miles on the tires ? Please provide comments with experience.

|I've been riding on mine for a couple of months now. I experienced the same thing the very first time I installed them on my Rolf Vector Comps. Only way to put them on was with a tire lever, actually three of them! After the initial break-in period, I was easily able to take off the tire with one lever and put it back on with one lever as well. You will find that this tire is very supple and absorbs road irregularities very well. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Happy riding!|

|I rolled my Pave's onto my Open Pro's with my fingies. :)
Very schweeet tire!!!! Got a little over three hundred miles on the set and they still look almost new. No cuts or flats yet. I expect to get at least a thousand miles easy from them. What pressure are you running yours at???
I'm using 105# front and 120# back for my 150# ars on a caad5 frame.

|I just recently put a set on Ksyrium's. No problem, just used my fingers. I like the 700-22 size. In my opinion a great riding tire. I hope they are durable and not prone to punctures.|| |
